There once was a player named Joe,
Who had a boy called little O.
He haled from the south,
Used to shoot off his mouth,
But now he's a dad and lays low.
Boat, he's our bilingual man.
Anouk is his number one fan.
They'll be married in May,
And we all hope they'll play
As part of their nuptual plan.
Arnold has had a bad rap,
Shootin' his mouth off and talkin' crap.
But we're glad he returned.
I've seen what he's learned.
And to him, I must tip off my cap.
Ben, he's back with the disc.
His throws he surely can wisk.
Has the passes we need.
Handles pressure, indeed.
Making completions without any risk.
Now Brion will soon be a doc,
To help people around the clock.
Any hospital's find,
He'll always be kind,
But his nick name also means c-ck.
Chris Showers is soooooo tall.
Makes me feel a wee bit small.
I know he can jump,
And really get up,
Especially when he slams a b-ball.
There once was a player named Dave.
Philosophical, but also quite grave.
I've known him forever.
He thinks he's quite clever.
Retorts it seems he does crave.
For practice, Ed has traveled far.
Spending all that time in his car.
It's his first year with us,
Much better than the CBUSS.
He's working hard to become a star.
Now Elijah, he's the Big Smooth.
He's always looking to make a move.
His discs slice the air.
He throws them with care,
Especially when he's in a groove.
There's Dono, well let's call him Jay.
Works hard with not much to say.
He'll give you a grin,
And sure help you win,
While making some outrageous play.
And what about Jason Choy?
He's our team Birthday Boy.
With legs that can last,
He's always moving fast.
For him, running is but a joy.
This year John joined us late,
But his conditioning still has been great.
It must have been Spain
That bolstered his game
Now there's something to contemplate.
There once was a player named Jude,
At times he came across a bit rude.
But he's surely got game,
Even two last names,
And he's the most hospitable dude.
Matt Tracy, he's D all the way.
With broken bones, you'll still see him lay.
He has a feisty mom,
Who loves to cheer us on.
"Boston sucks," I once heard her say.
Orion has come a long way,
From Purchase and that very first day.
I now cal him O-rhino,
Because his play is so fine-o.
It makes us all proud to see him play.
Rob and I run at the track,
In circles and up and back.
Run with the pain,
Stay in your own lane,
And finish up in the pitch black.
Timothy is the team clown,
Getting rid of anyone's frown.
He'll joke and say "wanker,"
For our team he's an anchor,
And for that, I'd give him a crown.
Lars is the big man on D.
It cracks me up when he covers me.
But his mark is quite tough,
And at times is so rough
The weak just all have to flee.
Walter, he's such a nice guy.
Kind words he'll give on the fly.
His vocabulary's extreme.
Iteration...what's that mean?
I won't want to tell him goodbye.
Last year, life wasn't so great,
And I don't know if I'd call it fate.
But I've been going to the track,
So I could come back,
And play with New York Ultimate.
