So we had a pretty good show of BS people at pickup in Brooklyn on Saturday.

Players and passers-by were even treated to a rare sighting of that ever-elusive Angry-footed Vinnymus, a rare species only sighted in dingier areas of Brooklyn, as well as occasionally in mosquito-infested Westchester county west nyle hot spots in the fall months. The spring weather appears to have awoken the "Vinny" (as the seasoned watchers call him) out of his hibernation, and moved him to engage in that ageless and universal quest for food and propagation of his seed...will he succeed? Let's keep watching...

Anyway, after making ourselves enough of a nuisance to the other players at the pickup game for all non-BS players to quit, we got down to business: hot box. (Note to self - stop volunteering own shoes for cones...) A pleasant game with hardly any blood ensued.

Point is... (what was the point?) oh yeah, was a beautiful day (windy though), we all got some exercise, and had a good time hanging out. I'd be psyched to see more of us be out there more often, if only to start remembering how to throw it to each other.

Yeah florida. Getting psyched...
