You all who didn't hoop it up (did I just write that?) last night missed three studs in spanking new b-ball shoes and Lars kicking butt as usual with his low-top city hikers.
Size matters: Lars and Jude cleaned up in multiple games of 21 and 2-on-2 (with a sub) on a night of surprisingly low turn-out. A result of Jude's new "no-foreigners" rule? Perhaps everyone got hurt at Turkey Bowl? Or did everyone except those who showed hear Walter was coming? Who knows...?
Walter, it turns out, to the general surprise of all concerned, still has enough ankles to stop-start playing ball, even if he couldn't really see the basket with his contacts out. AND he's got the best HORSE shot going. You won't believe it till you see it. My question is - can he do it on rollerblades?
In other notes, I still suck at this game - no new developments there. Although those charting my progress might be happy to hear that I hit a lay-up (note the singular). And Tim- you better be ready to see what I got to replace the K-Swisses - man can I not back these shoes up. So what if they give me bleeding blisters?
